Triage: Email First Aid App Reviews

Love it. Use it many times per day. Would like to see a "unified inbox" kind of option, so we can hit all accounts at once without switching. Update: Better yet, instead of the unified inbox, use left/right swipe to go between accounts to remove friction.

But if youve got a busy work account you occasionally get lost in, Triage can help. This isnt your email app, its an adjunct to it.

I would use Triage if it had unified inbox and PUSH. Will stick to Mail Ninja for now.

A new approach to mobile email for people who check their mail during downtime periods (not just in work mode). Just give us the option for a badge count or notifications. It would make my 3 starts a 5!

This app does exactly what it says. Deal with too much incoming mail in a straightforward fashion. Archive (or delete), keep, or send a quick reply. A great companion to whatever your favorite full mail app is.

I wish I wasnt the first to write a review. This app is completely unreliable. When it works I could see the promise but those times of working were very infrequent. Very disappointed but Ill try again if it improves.

This app helps me quickly get rid of dumb emails. It appears to lose connection even when I have a good signal every few days but otherwise its good.

The current version (7.0.3) of IOS has a very significant problem with Mail; when dealing with IMAP accounts, deleting an e-mail from an IOS device (phone or pad) deletes it from the server, but not from the device. As a result Mail inboxes rapidly become unworkable because of the mass of zombie e-mails that cannot be cleared from the screen. Apple is aware of the problem but has no current fix. Triage is a fantastic way to both overcome this current problem, and also simply to clear e-mail inboxes on the fly. The interface is clear - I set my preference to “delete” on swipe, rather than “archive” and the application works flawlessly. I agree that a unified view of multiple accounts would be useful, but, for me, the ability to clear my IMAP inbox of un-needed e-mails quickly, easily and regularly (before opening up the IOS Mail application, or dealing with deletions on IO-X devices) is very valuable. Excellent application.

Dig out quickly with just enough info about what it pertains too. Feel comfortable ignoring it.

Does what it does extremely well. Absolutely love how it is focused and not bloated. Helps me keep a handle on the inbox when Im out of the office. Indispensable!

Always hope for more email so I can use it for longer periods of time. Turns email into a game-like experience. Very satisfying. Would love to see more featured and more instant options. Hope to see it on the iPad soon.

This apps idea is good. Software is simple and easy to use. But it doesnt support background refresh. So I have to wait 10s secs every time when I try to process my mails.

This is unacceptable. Unless you have just a single inbox to manage with this, this app is basically useless… or at least becomes inefficient enough to defeat it’s purpose.

Great app for fast email cleanup.

I wake up, roll over, launch Triage and plow through my mail, then hit snooze knowing I deserve it.

Would be perfect with background fetch/refresh and an unified inbox for those of us with a lot of accounts. That being said, it is a efficient and rapid tool to perform email triage and will remain my primary mobile email reader.

This is a good app for quickly clearing out my junk/old email but only 3 stars because it needs a Shake-to-undo feature.

Its a simple app that works great and it does what it says it does trs useful for processing incoming mail from gmail. Would really appreciate exchange integration for work. - office 365- I would happily pay $4-$8 for this. Even a separate app would work.

Such a great app. Use it regularly. First app that actually improved my email processing since the advent of email. Would be improved with unified inbox, exchange support, and background refresh. Absolutely love it.

This is an amazingly simple but highly effective email app that helps you get through your emails in record time. Flip away the ones you don’t want, quickly reply to the ones you do, or save the remaining for later. Brilliant!
